Yupp...just back from Cambodia end of last month. Well, what can I summed up for this vacation....??
If you can appreciate their history and arts, then Siam Reap is a good place to venture :)
3 days before the trip, mcSteamy fall sick. Then it passed to me....then fayyadh. So it's a sick weekend for all of us! :(
Both of us already half hearted to go and wanted to call it off......but mcSteamy had this thought - " Sakit kat rumah pon tak best jugak....marilah kita sakit sambil berjalan2. If x larat, then stay hotel jer...better than staying at home "
So there we were.... arrived at Phnom Pehn City next Monday at 7.30am. Phewwwww, packing was challenging....sbb sgt tak beria nak pergi vacation.
The plan was to stay at PP ( Phnom Pehn ) first then Siam Reap ( SR ). But last minute decision mcSteamy decided to go to SR first....plus, as soon as we checkout from the airport..we're kidnapped by this Pak Supir ( actually he's a tut tut driver at the airport ). And he's offering a good bargain for travelling package from PP to SR and PP.....so why not change the plan.

From PP to SR is 5 hours long journey....Mmg naik kematu bon2 duk dalam kereta lama sgt. Sib baik tak naik bus ( that was the initial plan )....kalo tak mmg ader yg termuntah semua. But the view along the journey is breathtaking....

Arrived SR almost around 4pm. We quickly checked in and rejuvenate ourselves at the room.

We went out for dinner at 7.30pm. Actually, mcSteamy want to watched the culture and dancing show....so there is one restaurant which served buffet and cultural show that cost us 12USD / person. Mind you, halal food is challenging in SR. End up, we only ate rice with vegetable, bread and fruits.

After dinner, we went straight back to our hotel. The next day plan was to watch sun rise at the Angkor wat and we have to wake up very early..5.30am! Unfortunately around 2am kot, I had a high fever and couldn't breath easily coz both of my nostrils are blocked...!! Sedar2 jer ader org tampalkan koolfever kat dahi..... Tq laling :). Terus raser disayangi....Telan 2 bijik ubat, selubung bawah selimut...and sambung tido balik.. Honeymoon sgt lah kan.... hhahhahahaa :P
Luckily, the temperature managed to reduce. Berjaya jugak menyihatkan diri and get ready by 5.30am. The journey from our hotel to Angkor Wat took about less than half and hour. We purchased a 1 day passes which cost us 20USD/person. Upon purchasing your ticket a photo is taken and printed on the pass.
